Generation is the set of people born at the same epoch. Denominations :

- 1940 decade : Belle Époque (beautiful time in French);

- 1940 and 1950 decade : "Baby Boomers" (population explosion during World War II);

- 1960 and 1970 decade: "Generation X" (term coined by photographer Robert Capa, in 1950);

- 1980 and 1990 decade : "Generation Y" (technological advances and economic prosperity);

- From the 2000 : "Generation Z" (Internet, new technologies, speed of information and virtual world).
